* Position Summary:

** The primary function of the Warehouse Lead is to oversee distribution processes, assist customers and suppliers, manage and supervise employees, and ensure that safety regulations are met.
*
* Duties & Responsibilities:

*** Assists and leads assigned activities associated with warehouse operations.
* Prepare orders by processing requests: pull accurate materials and place in appropriate area for customer pick up or delivery; load and unload trucks as necessary.
* Responsible for organizing, planning, coordinating, facilitating, and managing all aspects of physical inventory and storage area.
* Responsible for managing the process of receiving, stocking, and quality control of all merchandise.
* Oversee and coordinate maintenance of equipment.
* Monitors performance and productivity to maximize operation excellence, which includes service, quality, and cost control.
* Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy.
* Assist with assigning workload, including training of warehouse staff.
* Maintain inventory controls through minimizing materials damage and ensuring order accuracy.
* Lift up to 50 lbs., walk or stand for most of the shift, and wear protective gear and steel-toed boots.
* Ability to operate a forklift.

* Basic Qualifications:

*** High School diploma or GED.
* Demonstrated knowledge of construction industry and building materials.
* 1-3 years of experience or more is preferred.

* Physical Requirements:

*** Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
* Will frequently move about inside the office and warehouse.
* Must be able to lift heavy building materials up to 50 lbs. for loading/unloading.
* Must be able to operate basic office machinery.
* Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
* Constantly in a warehouse environment.
