The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a global logistics and warehousing organization to hire an experienced and dependable
Warehouse Handler for their Phoenix, AZ location.
The Warehouse Handler supports day-to-day warehouseactivities, including receiving, organizing, storing, and preparing goods for shipment. This role helps maintain accurate inventory, efficient workflow, andtimely order fulfillment while upholding a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Working closely with warehouse team members andother departments, the Warehouse Handler helps meet operational goals, follows established procedures, and maintains product quality throughout the handlingprocess.
Schedule:
Full-Time
- Receive,inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents
- Safely load, unload, and move materials using appropriate equipment, includingforklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations to maximize space and accessibility
- Pick,prepare, and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping standards
- Maintaina clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily warehouse operations and resolve issues efficiently
- Followall company safety policies and procedures while handling materials and operating warehouse equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures
- Basic familiarity with inventory software for tracking stock and reporting discrepancies
- Experience with inventory systems, barcode scanners, or warehouse management software preferred
- Abilityto safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more
- Abilityto operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, with certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable,safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to work efficiently while meeting daily operational goals
