The Senior Accountant, Revenue Accounting is responsible for the monthly close and revenue accounting processes related to Business Services and Other Revenue. The role also involves the monthly revenue flash process and partners closely with Finance, FP&A, Business Operations, and Systems teams to drive process improvements.
Responsibilities- Research contracts and regulations to accurately calculate and process payments to regulatory authorities.
- Ensure balance sheet accuracy, perform reconciliations, and verify alignment with the general ledger.
- Investigate financial variances, diagnose root causes, and propose necessary adjustments for accuracy.
- Record monthly journal entries with comprehensive backup documentation to support each transaction.
- Review financial statements, analyze operational trends, and research variances against forecasts and budgets.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses for management, highlighting significant data insights.
- Research complex accounting issues to ensure compliance with evolving accounting policies and standards.
- Develop and enhance automated Oracle routines, including mass allocations and recurring journal entries.
- Innovate ways to streamline and standardize accounting processes to improve efficiency within the function.
- Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
- Be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Applicants with a combination of coursework and experience may be considered. - Certifications:
