Under the supervision of the Director of Public Works, the Sanitation Superintendent is responsible for operations of the Sanitation Department. This includes residential and commercial trash and recycling pick-up, management of the Borough compost site, downtown clean up, community education, and other projects throughout the Borough.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of relevant experience in Sanitation/Recycling
• 3 years of supervisory experience
• Ability to meet the approved physical standards for the position

• Must possess a valid PA Driver's License
• Professional Recyclers of Pennsylvania Certification preferred; if candidate does not have PROP certification, must be earned within 30 months of hire
