Adjunct Faculty – English

The Arts and Sciences Department invites applications for an adjunct professor position in English. Responsibilities include on-site classroom teaching at the undergraduate level. Compensation is based on educational qualifications.

The work environment consists of exposure to physical conditions typical of a normal office environment. Most of the job is performed while sitting, although standing or walking and the lifting and carrying of small objects may be required. Regular travel should be expected.

All employees must be openly committed followers of Christ and sign the UVF Community Covenant.

• Master’s degree in English required.
• Higher education teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Strong commitment to Christian faith and practice required.
