Special Education Teacher

This contract position spans 39.15 hours per week, offering stability while allowing you to grow professionally.

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience or strong interest in serving middle school and/or high school students
• Ability to collaborate with teaching staff, support personnel, and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment

• Deliver specially designed instruction tailored to individual student needs
• Develop, assess, and maintain individualized education plans
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to support diverse learning styles and abilities
• Partner with colleagues to implement best practices in special education
• Track student progress and communicate consistently with families and staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide insight into student development
