Part-time instructional assistants are needed to work with elementary school age students and support English Language Learners and/or academic support students within the 21st Century Community Learning Center Program.
Qualifications- High school diploma required
- Experience working with bilingual/bicultural students preferred
- Experience working with the applicable age group preferred
- Computer and current technology knowledge required
- Act 33 and 34 clearances and federal criminal history background check required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Assist with planning and implementation of supplemental educational programs
- Assist with regular communication with participating students' parents, teachers, guidance counselors, and administrators, as necessary
- Assist with facilitation of the involvement of parents in the education of their children and in the dissemination of information, using translation/interpretation services, as needed
- Assist with the planning and implementation of parent involvement activities within the 21st Century Community Learning Center program
Monday
- Thursday: 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm. No program on Fridays.
IA pay scale:
- - Bachelor’s degree equivalent to 9 years experience: $19.38
- - Master’s degree equivalent to 15 years experience: $23.19
