The Phoenixville Borough Civil Service Commission is establishing a new eligibility list for fulltime Police Officers. Phoenixville is a fast-growing, historic steel town just 30 miles west of Philadelphia known for its vibrant downtown, packed festival calendar, and strong community pride.

As a Phoenixville Police Officer, youll work in a dynamic environment with a diverse population of more than 20,000 residents and thousands of visitors each weekend. Our department values professionalism, integrity, and community engagement.

• Hold a high school diploma or GED
• Be a U.S. citizen
• Meet all Civil Service requirements
• Be Act 120 certified or currently enrolled in a Pennsylvania Municipal Police Academy
• Conditional offers for academy attendees require successful graduation and MPOETC certification.

Minimum age: 18 by the Final date to receive applications

Within 25 miles of Phoenixville at hire or after probation
