Machine Operator

Hourly rate: $24 an hour + Guaranteed overtime (10 hours paid at 1.5x) + Sign-on bonus (paid when you transfer permanent) + 1-stage interview process

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, mechanically minded person to join a stable engineering manufacturer building precision mechanical equipment for a range of industrial customers.

We're looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, confidence using hand and power tools
, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. If you can read engineering drawings/blueprints that's ideal - if not, you'll be trained.

This role would suit someone from a manufacturing/production environment, mechanical assembly, automotive, maintenance, fabrication, construction, or any other practical, tool-based background who wants a long-term path in a specialist manufacturing setting.

• Assemble and test precision mechanical components using hand and power tools
