We are currently recruiting a Full Time RN (Triage & Support) position available at Valley Forge OBGYN located in Phoenixville, PA.
Office HoursMonday-Friday between 8 AM‑5 PM with evening hours until 6 PM on Thursdays.
Responsibilities- Evaluates and assesses patient’s health care needs based on patient’s signs and symptoms utilizing established triage protocols and guidelines.
- Obtains appropriate input and direction from the provider as needed to determine best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient health care.
- Accurately documents symptoms/complaints, nursing assessment, advice provided and patient/caller response. Follows policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as improve health care outcomes of patients/callers and their access to appropriate health.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- CPR certification.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical facility, preferably in an OB/GYN setting.
- Knowledge of CPT coding, lab specific order sets, and eCW is beneficial.
