Risk Analyst

We are looking for a Risk Analyst to support the easyfinancial consumer lending business, assisting the Senior Manager, Risk and Analytics in developing, implementing, and managing risk analysis, monitoring, and controls.

• Data mining, modelling, and analysis:
  • Conduct analytical dives to diagnose and report drivers of changes in portfolio performance across multiple lending channels.
  • Support development of risk models for origination, account management, and collections.
  • Perform credit strategy optimization, including customer risk segmentation.
  • Forecast, track, and measure business metrics such as loss rates and loan conversion rates.
• Forecasting and reporting:
  • Maintain risk and performance reports evaluating overall credit risk.
  • Identify delinquency and charge‑off trends and apply observations to loss forecasting models.
  • Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to understand impact of policy and operational changes.
  • Provide objective assessments of risk profile and performance to senior management.

• Strong knowledge of quantitative methodologies and risk models.
• Technical knowledge of statistical analysis and modelling techniques.
• University degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline (advanced degree desired).
• Superior analytical skills and ability to detect trends and develop solutions.
• Experience with data extraction, mining, and modelling tools, including SQL; SAS knowledge.
• Strong communication skills, tailoring complex information to audiences.
• Adaptability to evolving environments with shifting priorities.

$70,125.00 – $82,500.00 CAD (base salary and bonus).
