Environmental Advisor at Ontario Power Generation

Reporting to the Section Manager Environment, this position requires collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, emphasizing skills in environmental assessments, technical documentation review, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental management and a commitment to regulatory processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support environmental assessments for nuclear projects

• Review and assess technical reports from vendors and contractors

• Coordinate environmental studies related to various ecological factors

• Engage with stakeholders including Indigenous Nations and government bodies

• Prepare and track documentation and responses for assessments

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in environmental assessments

• Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or Biology

• Familiarity with regulatory approvals processes

• Experience in multi-disciplinary project teams

• Strong communication and organizational skills
