Candidates will be responsible for operating and performing maintenance on the water pollution control systems. This includes electrical troubleshooting, installation, and repair while following safety and compliance standards. Expect to work on a rotating shift schedule and be available for standby duty.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain electrical equipment in wastewater systems
• Write detailed maintenance reports and track materials used
• Research and ensure the availability of necessary components
• Test and inspect contractor-installed systems for compliance
• Maintain and update electrical drawings and blueprints
Requirements:
• Valid 309A Certificate of Qualification as Electrician
• Class 1 Wastewater Treatment Certificate required
• Significant industrial electrical experience
• Proficient in using maintenance software
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License Class ‘G’ or higher
