Join BGIS as a Fire Safety Technician, ensuring compliance with fire regulations through detailed inspections. Work closely with various stakeholders for enhanced safety measures.
This full-time position involves integral collaboration with building occupants and facility managers under the Regional Operations Manager. Your focus will be on executing code-compliant testing and inspections, risk assessment, and reporting on fire safety measures. You must hold or be working towards your CFAA certification to thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and ensure compliance with fire safety codes
• Analyze alarm issues and propose effective solutions
• Communicate concerns and solutions to stakeholders
• Assist with evacuation plans and safety training
• Engage in project meetings related to fire safety
Requirements:
• Diploma in Fire Protection or a related field
• CFAA certification highly preferred
• Previous commercial fire alarm technician experience
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously or in teams
