Responsibilities- Proactively engage with service department clients to identify opportunities to acquire vehicles for the dealership’s used car inventory
- Build rapport with service customers to assess vehicle condition, ownership status, and potential interest in selling or trading their vehicle
- Present vehicle upgrade options, including transitioning service clients into new or pre-owned vehicles, when appropriate
- Conduct vehicle appraisals in coordination with the Sales Manager and used car team to ensure competitive and profitable offers
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Team, BDC, and Sales Managers to review service appointments, customer data, and equity positions to identify acquisition and upgrade opportunities
- Follow up with service clients through phone, text, and email to nurture acquisition and upgrade prospects
- Coordinate smooth handoffs between Service, Sales, and BDC to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, appraisals, and acquisition opportunities in the CRM
- Monitor market trends and inventory needs to support strategic used vehicle sourcing
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, state regulations, and ethical sales practices
- Previous experience in automotive sales, BDC, customer acquisition, or a similar sales-focused role is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, persuasive, and customer-oriented approach
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using CRM systems and basic computer applications
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and grow
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
