Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking qualified candidates for consideration of employment as a
Building Secretary at Sycamore Creek Elementary. This is a 10.5 month (221 days) position.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalency
Secretarial office experience preferred including general desktop publishing, editing, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills both orally and written
Experience with a wide range of office equipment
Typing speed of at least 40 wpm with accuracy and proper use of grammar*
Ability to follow directions and a strong desire to succeed
Must be respectful and work collaboratively with peers
Must be dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic
Ability to maintain and respect confidential information and situations
Ability to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations
Ability to assist principal/supervisor in creating a safe, positive, respectful climate
