Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent

Job Description

Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking qualified candidates for consideration of employment for an Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent.

This is a 12-month position.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Prior secretarial experience preferred.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of basic office procedures and proficiency in operating standard office equipment, machines, and computers.
• Proficient in utilizing common office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and email.
• Proven ability to read, analyze, and interpret relevant information.
• Effectively communicate verbally in both a small and large group setting.
• Possess strong written communication skills.
• Competent in basic mathematical and computational concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to follow directions effectively and exhibit a strong drive for success.
• Demonstrate respectful and collaborative work ethic with peers.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Proven ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and situations.
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents from diverse populations.
