Job Description
Pickerington Local School District is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time instrumental music teacher (grades 6-12) for the school year.
Qualifications- Valid Ohio certificate/license Music (K-12)
- Successful teaching experience for grades 6-12 preferred
- Marching Band Director experience preferred
- Experience participating in and knowledge of OMEA adjudicated events preferred
- Experience and knowledge of current trends in instrumental music education
- Ability to work well with students, staff, and parents of diverse populations
- Ability to communicate in a variety of ways to serve the needs of students and parents
- Must be properly certified
