5th grade Gifted Teacher focus ELA/SS
Pickerington Local School District is seeking a full‑time 5th grade Gifted Teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year. The position focuses on English Language Arts and Social Studies, supporting gifted and high‑ability students.
Qualifications- Valid Ohio certificate/license K‑8, 1‑8 or K‑3 with 4‑5 endorsement; P‑5; 4‑9 ELA/SS
- Gifted endorsement or willingness to work toward endorsement
- Proven ability to differentiate for high‑ability and gifted learners and create enriched activities to challenge them
- Understanding and empathy for the social and emotional needs of gifted students
- Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, and diverse populations
