Substitute Cook Positions
Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking interested applicants for substitute cook positions within the district on an as-needed basis. The substitute pay rate for cooks is $14.00 per hour. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED equivalency. Previous experience as a cook is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards is required. Preferred experience with point-of-sale (cashier) systems and general computer applications.
Ability to follow directions and a strong commitment to success. Demonstrated dependability, strong work ethic, and a positive, collaborative demeanor. Strict adherence to confidentiality protocols. Ability to interact effectively with diverse students, staff, and parents. If qualified and interested, complete an on-line application.
