Qualifications
  • Must possess a current and active School Psychologist license for Ohio
  • Demonstrated previous experience working in a school setting
  • Expertise in supporting the academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of junior high students
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Dependable and adaptable, committed to navigating the unique needs of a junior high population
  • Comfortable working full time onsite throughout the assignment
Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and develop intervention plans for referred students
  • Interpret assessment data and share findings with educational teams
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student learning objectives
  • Participate in meetings, including IEPs, to provide insights and recommendations
  • Deliver direct and indirect services that promote students' mental health and educational progress
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Foster a supportive atmosphere to help students reach their fullest potential
