Do you love to sew, knit, or crochet? As a Comfort Blanket Volunteer with Corso Care, you can create handmade blankets and bring warmth, comfort, and a personal touch to patients during a challenging time.
What You’ll Do- Create blankets using quilting, knitting, or crocheting techniques
- Deliver completed blankets to patients in your area, bringing a personal gift of comfort
- Help brighten patients’ days and provide a tangible reminder that they are cared for
- We ask that supplies for making blankets be donated
- Make a meaningful difference in patients’ emotional well-being
- Flexible – create blankets on your own schedule
- Share your crafting skills to bring comfort and joy to those in need
- Ability to quilt, knit, or crochet
- Compassion and dedication to creating comfort for patients
- Completion of volunteer training program (for patient delivery)
- Background check and TB test
