Building Level Social Workers

The Pickerington Local School District is seeking qualified applicants for Building Level Social Workers. Candidates must have strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills. Job Goal:
To provide social work services to eligible students and their families in multiple school buildings to eliminate or reduce non-academic barriers to students' academic achievement.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work, School Social Work specialization preferred
• Social Work license issued by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board (LSW or LISW)
• Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Pupil Services license as a School Social Worker (preferred) and/or registration
• Experience and knowledge of current trends in social work and successful experience in public schools preferred
