Warehouse Internet Shipper – Team Lead
Location: Pico Rivera, CA
Hourly Rate: $19.87
The Internet Shipper – Team Lead is a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of e‑commerce orders. The candidate will oversee the shipping process, manage a small team, and collaborate across departments to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals.
Responsibilities- Ensure the entire shipping process for picked orders is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Assist the department supervisor with daily planning, staffing, and prioritization.
- Direct and oversee picking, sorting, packing, and shipping activities to meet customer timelines.
- Enforce proper procedures, safety practices, and productivity standards.
- Train new team members and provide ongoing guidance.
- Maintain clear communication with cross‑functional teams.
- Monitor systems and emails to promptly address customer inquiries.
- Keep work areas clean and free from safety hazards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and support workplace safety initiatives.
- Handle cash or other assets securely, if applicable.
- Accurate execution of written and verbal instructions.
- Maintaining high individual productivity and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment (1‑2 years preferred).
- Familiarity with safety measures and compliance requirements.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move objects 10–50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs).
- Capacity to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and occasionally climb ladders or stairs.
- Strong time‑management and multitasking abilities.
- Adaptability to a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Open and flexible availability for various shifts, overtime, and weekend work.
- Must be a self‑starter with a team‑first attitude and the ability to work well with supervisors and peers.
