Member Service Representative II

Pay Range: $24.56 – $35.62

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide world‑class member service to individuals visiting branch/service center locations
  • Provide information and promote credit union products and services to build relationships
  • Process transactions in the areas of savings, loans, and auxiliary credit union services
  • Perform file maintenance including processing requests for change of address, check orders, and ordering ATM cards
  • Perform vault and night drop duties as assigned; assist with morning and evening branch preparation and support team members as needed
  • Maintain cash and negotiables; provide suggestions for streamlining department and credit union operations
  • Process new memberships, share accounts, savings services, consumer loan requests, and general consumer loan fundings as requested by members
  • Research accounts to identify and correct member account problems; deliver world‑class face‑to‑face service for account assistance
  • Provide consultative services to members regarding credit union products and services by assessing member needs and addressing concerns
Additional Job Functions
  • Provide daily support to team members, answer questions, resolve problems, communicate job expectations, plan, monitor, and appraise job results
  • Train, coach, counsel, and discipline team members; develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards
  • Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances
  • Contribute to organizational goals and priorities as a member of the management team; establish and implement plans that affect short‑term business results in alignment with organizational objectives
  • Evaluate operating procedures and policies, ensuring highest levels of member service, productivity, and internal control
  • Initiate, research, coordinate, and implement department or division projects that benefit members, internal team members, or department operations
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and other applicable regulations; understand credit union organizational goals and KPIs and take necessary actions to achieve desired results
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1‑3 years of prior related experience required
  • Notary License required
  • Participation in the CA DMV pull program may be required depending on assignment
