Spot Weld Helper

Assist production welders in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment by preparing parts, feeding and removing assemblies, performing basic spot‑weld tasks under supervision, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

• Load, position, and clamp parts for spot welding and assist welders during setups
• Operate basic spot‑weld equipment and hand tools per instruction and safety procedures
• Inspect welded assemblies for visible defects and remove finished parts to staging areas
• Clean and maintain work area, consumables, and basic tooling; report equipment issues
• Follow written work orders, production schedules, and quality standards
• Adhere to all safety, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; on‑the‑job training provided
• Prior manufacturing or welding shop experience helpful but not required
• Ability to read basic work instructions, measure to tolerances, and use hand tools
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
• Able to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed; 18+ years old

• Standing for long periods of time
• Lifting to 75 lbs, bending, twisting, stand sit, use hands to manipulate equipment

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
