Material Handler

Our client, Food Manufacturing Industry is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting Production and Warehouse teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Pico Rivera, CA

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment to move raw materials, packaging, and finished product.
• Supply production and packaging lines with required materials to support continuous operation.
• Load and unload trailers, verifying counts and ensuring proper documentation.
• Perform physical movement and accurate system transactions for all materials, including scanning, labeling, and inventory tracking.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through timely and precise material movements and reporting.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or powered industrial trucks (PIT) required; certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management or ERP systems (SAP experience a plus).
• Knowledge of food safety and GMP requirements preferred.
