Job Description:
A leading manufacturer specializing in bulletproof and soundproof doors is seeking dependable Metal Shop Helpers to join our production team. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in manufacturing.
Shift: 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm (Monday - Friday). Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
Responsibilities:- Grind and sand metal surfaces to remove imperfections
- Measure and cut materials accurately
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Work with Bondo and acetone as part of the fabrication process
- Assist in various departments and cross-train as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to work overtime when required
