summary:

• the floor coach supports daily warehouse operations at fn logistics by providing hands-on guidance, retraining, and leadership to bluecrew crew members on the warehouse floor. This role works closely with bluecrew on-site managers and fn logistics leadership to ensure productivity, safety, compliance, and adherence to company policies. The floor coach serves as a point of contact for crew members, reinforcing performance standards, safety expectations, and operational excellence.

responsibilities:

• provide hands-on coaching and retraining in warehouse positions including pick, pack, restock, replenishment, inventory, and returns.
• support new and existing crew members to ensure understanding of job functions and productivity expectations.
• monitor performance and provide real-time feedback to improve quality and efficiency.
• escalate performance concerns to bluecrew on-site managers as needed.
• conduct regular floor walks to ensure crew members are working safely and efficiently.
• verify crew members are clocking in/out correctly and taking scheduled breaks on time.
• ensure crew members return from breaks promptly and resume assigned duties.
• assist in maintaining proper staffing alignment across departments as directed by management.
• reinforce bluecrew and fn logistics policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
• ensure adherence to warehouse safety standards and osha compliance guidelines.
• address minor behavioral or performance issues on the floor and escalate when necessary.
• promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
• maintain consistent communication with bluecrew on-site managers regarding crew performance, attendance, and concerns.
• check in regularly with fn logistics management to ensure alignment with daily operational goals.
• report safety issues, incidents, or operational challenges immediately.
• serve as a liaison between crew members and management.

requirements:

• prior warehouse experience required.
• leadership or coaching experience preferred.
• strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• ability to lead by example and enforce policies professionally.
• knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
• ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

location rules:

• no cell phone use or electronics on the warehouse floor. Use your cell phone only in designated areas on breaks.
• no food or drinks at your workstations. Water and clear drinks are allowed.
• you must use a clear bag and follow the dress code.
• no headphones or earbuds in your ears are allowed while working.
• wearing the hood of a hoodie sweatshirt is not allowed on the warehouse floor.
• smoking and vaping is only permitted in the designated smoking area. The parking lot and warehouse are smoke & vape-free.
• only vape & cigarettes are allowed in the smoking area
• you will be issued a badge after your first day. You must always wear your badge in the warehouse.
• if you are leaving early let your fn supervisor know then check out with your bluecrew onsite manager.
• follow all safety guidelines: conveyor belt safety - no leaning on the conveyor belt and you must open the conveyor belt correctly. No running.
• bluecrew members working at fn logistics are prohibited from posting any photos, videos, or references to their positions, the warehouse, or any proprietary information related to fn logistics on social media.
• there are security cameras throughout the warehouse and parking lot
• claiming hours that you have not worked or claiming show up pay/reporting pay when you did not show up. Is time theft.

location info:

• refrigerators, water dispensers, microwaves, vending machines, taco trucks, lockers, and cubies available.
