Job Summary
Directs and coordinates activities of distribution warehouse. Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory. Coordinates activities of distribution warehouse with sales, record control, and purchasing departments to ensure availability of merchandise.
EssentialJob Duties
- Reviews bills of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders to plan work activities.
- Assigns workers to specific duties, such as verifying amounts of and storing incoming merchandise and assembling customer orders for delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory data in the warehouse systems.
- Count and balance all inventory daily to ensure proper inventory levels.
- Properly and fairly allocate shortages and overages to IDPs.
- Answer phones in a professional manner.
- Interact with Customer Service/Planning and Transportation to coordinate cuts, adjustments, credits and other daily issues.
- Print orders for Bin Routes daily.
- Cross‑check and verify accuracy of orders built for shipment to BIN locations.
- Direct reclamation of damaged merchandise.
- Assist in tracking and reporting in payroll.
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and databases as necessary.
- May perform other duties as required.
- Audit, adjust and break‑down daily load shipments.
- Distribute and bill products to IDPs based on their daily orders.
- Issue stale or unsaleable credit to Distributors in accordance with company policy.
- Create a positive environment in Depot at load times to support engagement levels for IDPs.
- Account for and balance all daily shipments.
- Manage depot expenses, especially labor and utility costs, to control costs and adhere to budget.
- Communicate IDP information, questions and concerns to the management team in a timely manner.
- Report any depot repair work needed and arrange for timely completion.
- Report any plant service or transportation issues (late trucks, product cuts, etc.).
High School diploma or GED equivalent; and 1 year of related experience or a combination of education and experience.
Physical RequirementsThe job requires frequent sitting, using hands and arms, talking, hearing, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Required vision includes close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work EnvironmentThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Base pay depends on location and other factors such as experience. Total pay may include compensation forms such as health, dental, 401(k), and wellness benefits starting on the first day of employment.

Monday and Wednesday – Anaheim, Thursday – Carson, Friday – Pico Rivera. Base rate per hour: $28.00.
