In this capacity, you will oversee the complete prospective family experience beginning with initial contact. You will reply with both speed and care, arrange campus visits and student shadowing opportunities, keep applicant information current and precise, and help parents assess whether Alpha aligns with their objectives. This is a high-visibility, relationship-centered position where you directly affect enrollment choices.
This is a dynamic, on-campus position based in Palo Alto, CA and Piedmont (East Bay), CA, suited for someone capable of balancing competing demands with precision and attention. What You Will Be Doing- Replying to prospective family inquiries within 24 hours with clear, professional communication aligned to Alpha's values
- Organizing and delivering admissions events, campus visits, and shadow day experiences, including logistics and follow-up outreach
- Keeping applicant records thorough and precise across CRM systems and admissions tools
- Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's approach, respond to concerns, and document key details
- Partnering with campus staff and admissions team members to maintain a streamlined and effective admissions process
- Rendering final admissions decisions or shaping enrollment policies
- Delivering instruction or managing academic programming
- Applying aggressive sales methods or following rigid scripts
- Working in a loosely organized or slow-paced setting
Key Responsibilities
Provide a cohesive, high-conversion admissions journey that converts early interest into committed enrollment while ensuring families feel well-informed, valued, and enthusiastic about choosing Alpha.
Basic Requirements- 2+ years of customer-facing experience
- At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
- At least 1 year of experience working in a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated attention to data accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
- Ability to work on-site in Palo Alto, CA or Piedmont (East Bay), CA
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
- Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
- Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
