You will own the complete prospective family experience from initial contact onward. Your work includes timely and personalized responses, coordination of campus tours and shadow experiences, meticulous applicant data management, and guiding parents in understanding how Alpha functions and whether it matches their aspirations. This is a high-visibility, relationship-centered role with direct influence on enrollment outcomes.
This is an on-campus, fast-moving position based in Palo Alto, CA and Piedmont (East Bay), CA, suited to someone who excels at juggling competing priorities with precision and attention. What You Will Be Doing- Replying to prospective family inquiries within 24 hours with professional, clear, and brand-consistent communication
- Organizing and executing admissions events, campus visits, and shadow day experiences, managing logistics and post-event outreach
- Ensuring applicant records remain complete and accurate within CRM and admissions management systems
- Conducting meetings with families to describe Alpha's educational approach, answer their questions, and document key information
- Partnering with campus staff and admissions team members to maintain an efficient and cohesive enrollment process
- Deciding which applicants are admitted or shaping enrollment policies
- Delivering instruction or managing academic curriculum
- Employing aggressive sales methods or scripted messaging
- Working in a slow-paced or loosely organized setting
Key Responsibilities
Create a seamless, conversion-focused admissions experience that moves families from initial curiosity to committed enrollment, ensuring they feel well-informed, valued, and enthusiastic about becoming part of Alpha.
Basic Requirements- 2+ years of customer-facing experience
- At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
- At least 1 year of experience working in a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated attention to data accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
- Ability to work on-site in Palo Alto, CA or Piedmont (East Bay), CA
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
- Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
- Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
