Job SummaryAre you the type of person who is passionate about delivering the highest quality product to your customer? Are you excited to champion Vermeer’s brand by ensuring Vermeer product meets customers’ expectations for superior quality? In this role you will oversee in-process and end-of-line operations to ensure the product conforms to Vermeer standards and specifications. We’re looking for a people-focused and process-oriented problem solver who has a keen eye for detail and the ability to drive adherence to Vermeer’s standards.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
- Minimum six months of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, read blueprints, and interpret standards, print tolerances, and other production specifications in order to accurately evaluate product and meet production needs.
- Effective communication and relationship building with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of fractions, percentages, and ratios.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, CAD and other software.
- No travel is expected of this position.
