Middle School Science Teacher

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OK, for a Middle School Science Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging science lessons tailored to the individual needs of students, particularly those with learning differences. Responsibilities involve lesson planning, fostering a supportive classroom environment, assessing and tracking student progress, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure student growth.

The teacher will also contribute to curriculum development while promoting a passion for science and learning.

• Experience in Science Education and working with Middle School students
• Skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
• Effective Communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues
• Understanding of teaching strategies for students with learning differences such as dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder, or sensory processing issues
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field; teaching certification preferred
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
