Process Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a full-time Process Engineer to support a composite materials manufacturing site in Piedmont, SC. This role leads process engineering initiatives that drive continuous improvement, resolve chronic production issues, and support new product introductions while aligning with global best practices and capital projects. The engineer will conduct feasibility studies, analyze process and quality data, implement optimization measures, support root‑cause investigations, and guide digital transformation efforts.

Responsibilities also include defining technical scope for capital projects, overseeing implementation through startup and commissioning, and promoting a strong culture of safety, quality, and collaboration. The position includes participation in launching a new production facility abroad (Saudi Arabia), requiring 5–30% international travel initially and up to 50% by late 2026, with flexibility to live overseas for 6–12 months.

• Bachelors of Science (Engineering Preferred)
• 5-10 years of experience in quality/manufacturing/process engineering
• Previous experience in quality/process engineering function in chemical manufacturing environment
• Continuous improvement background with demonstrated experience in problem solving and root cause analysis
• Preferably has experience in composite material / adhesive material manufacturing or other similar continuous web process industries (paper, film, foil, or textile industries)
• Understand key operational metrics and communicate across organization to achieve clear alignment and focus. Understanding of quality systems, ISO
  9001/AS9100 requirements

• Experience as a production engineer with hands‑on troubleshooting and procedure writing

$108,000 to $135,000 per year annual salary.
