As the Maintenance Planner Scheduler at our site, you will support and enhance site Facility and Infrastructure by effectively managing site initiatives aligned with existing and new equipment. This role is critical to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable facility and infrastructure equipment with a strong focus on quality, uptime, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will be responsible for working with various teams and tracking performance, managing work orders, creating schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain schedules:
    Develop comprehensive schedules for construction, fabrication, and maintenance projects, ensuring they are realistic and aligned with company objectives.
  • Coordinate activities:
    Plan the sequence of operations, coordinate activities across different departments, and identify resource needs (materials, labor, equipment).
  • Prioritize and allocate resources:
    Work with leadership to establish priorities and allocate resources effectively to meet production and maintenance needs.
  • Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment uptime.
  • Process work orders:
    Schedule and dispatch work orders, track progress, and manage preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate with stakeholders:
    Provide regular updates to leadership and other business focals on schedule performance, risks, and progress.
  • Make recommendations to increase productivity, decrease costs, and improve the overall efficiency of operations.
  • Forecast demand for MRO (maintenance, repair, and operating) parts and optimize ordering strategies.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years in industrial maintenance utilizing a CMMS and hands‑on experience of industrial systems including cooling towers, air compressors, wastewater, central coolant systems, HVAC, 3‑phase power systems, and/or facility maintenance experience)
Desired Characteristics
  • Hands‑on experience with industrial systems including cooling towers, air compressors, wastewater, central coolant systems, HVAC, 3‑phase power systems, and/or facility maintenance
  • Applied work experience in an industrial setting utilizing a CMMS
  • At least 2 years of planning/scheduling experience
  • Actively supports EHS policies including electrical safety, NFPA 70e, LOTO, hot work, confined space, PPE, OSHA compliance, and MOC activities
  • Experience reading and interpreting complex mechanical drawings, schematics, instruction manuals, diagrams and PLC (ladder) programs
