Job Title:
MES Engineer – Piedmont, South Carolina
We are seeking an experienced MES Engineer to lead the design, development, and support of our Manufacturing Execution System at Decostar Industries.
Responsibilities- Lead code development, customization, and support of the Decostar MES system.
- Build and maintain production applications.
- Develop software applications for manufacturing execution.
- Analyze, design, and test Manufacturing Execution Applications.
- Manage part grouping, classifications, and attributes.
- Perform BOM setup and troubleshooting.
- Implement RFID scanning solutions and integrate with MES.
- Develop and maintain EDI interfaces.
- Coordinate deployment between MES and ERP.
- Design and architect MES integration with shop‑floor PLC data to IoT environments including MS Azure.
- Prepare and maintain detailed MES documentation.
- Maintain all customer quality standards and company quality standards.
- Perform daily cross‑functional job assignments as required by department procedures and work instructions.
- Provide MES operational support to ensure system stability and efficiency.
- Gather and analyze MES requirements for production lines.
- Configure and develop MES systems.
- Lead MES‑related projects within the production plant.
- Validate and implement new MES releases.
- Create reports to provide valuable business information.
- Perform additional duties as directed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or Intelligent Systems.
- Minimum 60 months of relevant experience as a MES Engineer, MES Group Leader, Business Analyst, AMS Leader, or MES Developer.
- Experience providing MES operational support and ensuring system stability.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and configuring MES requirements for production lines.
- Experience leading MES‑related projects within a production plant.
- Ability to validate and implement new MES releases and produce analytical reports.
Work Hours:
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Compensation: $ per year.
