Qualification Engineer for our site in Greenville (Piedmont), SC.
What you will do- Initiate, develop, and execute product re‑site/qualifications in support of fiber and related finished goods changes for aerospace materials.
- Interpret and recommend qualification strategies in compliance with corporate standards.
- Develop close interactive collaborative relationships with manufacturing, quality, customer engineering, and account managers.
- Foster relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure clear communications to facilitate effective and efficient requalification projects.
- Follow management of change procedures in close coordination with site and global quality organizations.

- Learning business processes, strategies, and high standards important to our business.
- Learning experiences that will ready the applicant for a broad selection of roles beyond this team, including management opportunities.
- BS in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical/Materials Engineering.
- Recent graduates welcome; experience in the Composites/Fiber industry is a plus.
- Must be a self‑starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must set high quality standards and have a strong sense of urgency (action oriented).
- Ability to create and lead cross‑functional teams engaging internal and external customers.
- Takes initiative in solving complex technical and process problems.
- Good organization skills, ability to learn and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to display and develop project management skills.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of the composite industry, including resin families and fibers.
- Understanding of fiber chemistry and manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
- Problem solving, technical presentations, relationship building and technical conflict resolution.
- Basic understanding of analytical, physical, and mechanical test methods.
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis.
- Languages:
English is a must.
- U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be $80,000 to $120,000 per year.
- Actual compensation packages based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate; may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
- Total compensation also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

- 16 or more weeks of maternity/paternity and co‑parenting leave, according to local regulations.
