Summary:

Cosma provides a comprehensive range of body, chassis and engineering solutions to global customers. Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.

• Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
• Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
• Confer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status.
• Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency, using drafting tools and computer.
• Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
• Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards.
• Estimate production cost and effect of product design changes for management review, action, and control.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in technical related discipline or 10 years related automotive experience with sound understanding of BIW build fit & function.

WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:
Must have an understanding in the following areas, die / die process, assembly tooling, welding & sealer applications, CMM & datum alignment, data processing & reporting, customer tolerancing concepts, working knowledge of catia V4/V5. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Project, Word. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong leadership skills.

Pay range: $70,000 - $80,000 annual salary
