We are seeking a Senior Desktop Support Specialist / Engineer to provide advanced, hands‑on technical support across enterprise desktop, mobile, and end‑user computing environments. This role serves as an escalation point within the IT support organization and supports production‑critical manufacturing and distribution environments.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows environments, endpoint management tools, enterprise networking basics, and device lifecycle operations
, while providing high‑touch white‑glove user support.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, One Drive, SharePoint)
- Support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, RF scanners, and peripherals
- Support printing, wireless networking, and VPN connectivity
- Support Active Directory authentication and account access issues
- Support Avaya VoIP phones and softphone integrations
- Image, configure, deploy, and maintain workstations
- Support Intune, Soti Mobi Control, Lansweeper, and Automox patching tools
- Support workstation refresh and lifecycle programs
- Support plant floor, production line, and distribution center users
- Support shift and potentially 24/7 operational environments
- Maintain knowledge base documentation
- Support IT asset management and inventory processes
- Participate in infrastructure rollouts and expansion projects
- Mentor and train desktop support staff
- Provide direct end‑user training and adoption support
- Strong Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting experience
- Active Directory user support and authentication troubleshooting
- Desktop imaging and endpoint deployment experience
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience supporting RF scanners, production systems, or warehouse devices
- Strong communication and customer‑facing skills
- CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, or Microsoft MD-102 certifications
- Power Shell or automation scripting experience
- Experience in regulated or compliance‑driven environments
- 3+ years Big 4 consulting experience preferred
