On-site position in Piedmont, SC - Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.

Position Overview

The Supervisor of Supply Chain oversees the daily operations to include fulfilment of internal supply orders, materials storage, receiving, and par cart stocking. Responsibilities include providing administrative support, training, technical guidance, team member feedback/discipline, and supervision. The Supervisor of Supply Chain assists the Director of Supply Chain to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective handling of supplies and materials. Excellent customer service skills and teamwork are required for this position.

This position requires an increased level of experience in warehousing and inventory management. The Supervisor of Supply Chain will assist in developing procedures, validations, and policies as needed.

Essential Functions

Organizational Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing all inbound, outbound, and mobile staging Supply Chain operations
  • Confirms all scanning operations are completed on approved devices
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure operational success
  • Monitors inventory levels to ensure our par levels for critical goods are maintained
  • Ensures Critical Goods inspections are completed in a timely manner
  • Communicates any supply issues with Purchasing

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintains availability and promptly responds to after-hours notifications and calls
  • Responds to unforeseen staff shortages with staffing adjustments
  • Ensures the prompt reporting of accidents through TBC’s established accident reporting process
  • Supervises, coaches, and trains staff
  • Reviews and approves staff PTO
  • Reviews and approves staff timecards in Dayforce
  • Provides input regarding staff performance and evaluations
  • Manages workflow of warehouse and mobile staging team members and assures communication between shifts
  • Ensures completion of duties by staff members
  • Assists in developing and overseeing the implementation of policies, process descriptions, standard operating procedures, and training plans

Personnel-related Responsibilities:

  • Participates in hiring qualified personnel
  • Evaluates personnel performance in terms of job accountabilities, objective measures, and pre-defined standards
  • Coaches, counsels, and disciplines personnel as required
  • Orients new staff to department and job specific knowledge
  • Retrains as necessary

Documents and Record Management:

  • Ensures procedures and forms are uniform and adhere to the organization’s document control directives
  • Practices excellent customer service relations with co-workers, clients, and the public
  • Produces accurate, precise, and legible documentation
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area
  • Other duties as assigned or required
Minimum Qualifications
  • College degree in business or logistics preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED with 4 years’ experience in:
    • Warehousing/Supply Chain
    • Operations/business management
  • Valid Driver’s License with no major infractions and dependable transportation
  • Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamically changing environment
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Strong computer skills including intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Ability to work with all levels and in a diverse work environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and peers
  • Ability to exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters
