Summary/PurposeSupports the operations of the Piedmont facility by performing a variety of functions that improve the efficiency of the overall plant operations through support of day-to-day functions.
Essential Duties and AccountabilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.
- Create, maintain and organize documentation for assigned department.
- Prepare support documents for operations (i.e., hourly build sheets, ECCSs, etc.)
- Update and summarize current performance by area based on production records, emails, etc.
- Coordinate performance improvement meetings and track progress for any open actions
- Assist with projects assigned by management and supervisors, supporting a variety of initiatives across the plant functions
- Create or research purchase requisitions as needed
- Supports any coordination of travel, meetings, scheduling, food coordination etc. as needed for visits, internal meetings and external meetings
- Maintain 5S of the area; greet visitors and direct them as needed
- May perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned by management.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to professionally create reports and other documents with high detail of accuracy
- Proven ability to contribute toward the success of the team and the company
- Proficient communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of applicable quality, health, safety and environmental management systems
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Associate’s degree in a relevant field preferred or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent relevant experience.
- Prior related work experience in a support role.

- Work shift as assigned and overtime is required, as needed.
- Will be required to do the following throughout the shift: standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching above and below shoulders, moving left to right repetitively, grasping, and fine finger dexterity.
- May be required to lift during shift up to 40 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required with this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The performance of this position requires exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, safety glasses with side shields.
