SummaryIn this role, the Quality Coordinator will act as a support function to assist the Quality Department in daily tasks such as quality assurance of our products, maintaining calibrated measurement tooling, and playing a role within our IBMS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Quality Systems & Compliance
- Follow and adhere to the Integrated Business Management System (IBMS).
- Maintain quality and performance standards for manufactured products.
- Manage documentation related to quality control, ensuring accuracy, version control, and audit readiness.
- Quality Control Activities
- Oversee the First Article Inspection (FAI) process.
- Manage Receiving Inspection, In-Process Monitoring, and Final Inspection.
- Facilitate investigations into quality issues (e.g., non-conformances, corrective action requests, root cause analysis support).
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure quality expectations are met.
- Tooling & Equipment
- Maintain calibrated measurement equipment program.
- Track calibration schedules, coordinate external calibration services, and ensure proper storage and usage.
- Cross-Department Collaboration
- Communicate quality requirements across manufacturing teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality-related projects.
- An associate's degree in manufacturing technology or quality fields preferred.
- 5+ years in Manufacturing and quality related fields. Preferred experience working with Blueprints, welding symbols and terminology, electrical diagrams, as well as both standard and metric measurement systems.
- Previous experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform any/all essential job functions.
- Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance.
- Compliance with all personnel policies and practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Utilize office software such as D365 (ERP), SharePoint, Power BI, Excel, and Word to manage data and workflows effectively.
- Maintain an organized and well-presented office environment, ensuring that all systems and processes run smoothly.
