As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Piedmont, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a chemical manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support vehicle and personnel screening processes in accordance with site policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with site personnel, first responders, and/or Allied Universal teams regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and changing conditions that may affect daily operations.

• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
