Job Summary

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will manage and support all ELT jobs and ensure a comprehensive understanding of FHIR HL7 standards and mapping.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst
. The role is full‑time and the client is open to 100% remote but prefer candidates local to Pittsburgh who can work hybrid 2‑3 days a week.

Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, only US Citizens will be considered for this role. Candidates must be able to work directly on CAI's W2.

What You'll Do
  • ELT Job Support:
    Manage and support all Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT) jobs to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • FHIR HL7 Standards:
    Ensure a thorough understanding of FHIR HL7 standards and mapping to support interoperability.
  • Customer Engagement:
    Engage with customers to understand their needs, gather requirements, and provide solutions
  • Data Mapping and Transformation:
    Accurately map and transform data to meet FHIR HL7 standards
  • Testing and Validation:
    Conduct thorough testing and validation of data pipelines and processes
  • Documentation:
    Provide comprehensive documentation for all processes and procedures
  • Team

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure project success
  • Certifications:

    Relevant certifications in business analysis, data management, or interoperability standards
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Knowledge of CMS ONC Interoperability requirements and healthcare data standards
What You'll Need

Required:

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst role, with a focus on data management and interoperability
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in ELT processes, FHIR HL7 standards, and data mapping
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and stakeholders effectively
  • Problem‑Solving

    Skills:

    Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
  • Team Player:
    Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Certifications:

    Relevant certifications in business analysis, data management, or interoperability standard
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Knowledge of CMS ONC Interoperability requirements and healthcare data standards

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$55.00-$62.00 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
