What you will do- The position will be responsible for managing and monitoring the contract process for the Department of Social Services.
- Reviewing contracts to ensure compliance with DSS and State/Federal standards.
- Collaborate with divisions of DSS and other state agencies in modernizing processes and implementing system updates to streamline operations.
- Help team members learn and apply new techniques and apply change management techniques within the Division of Finance.
- Assist with leading the year-end accrual process.
- Complete the preparation of federal financial reports.
- Consult with DSS personnel regarding financial data within their area.
- Participate and assist in the development of policies and procedures.

Bachelor's degree in a financial or business-related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and directly related experience may be considered.
This position is exempt from the Civil Service Act and is eligible for Veterans' Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
