Customer Service Representative

At our locally owned and operated Valvoline Instant Oil Change franchise locations, great service is not about fast talk or pressure- it is about trust. From the moment a customer pulls in, to the final “you’re good to go,” this role helps create an experience that is clear, confident, and done right.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers and guide them through the service process.
• Ask the right questions and clearly explain recommended services.
• Build trust through honest, straightforward communication.
• Keep workflow moving between the customer, upper bay, and lower bay.
• Perform basic services, support busy shifts, and help maintain a clean, professional environment.

What You’ll Need

• Customer service or sales experience is a plus, not required.
• Willingness to learn automotive services, terminology, and franchise service standards.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, up to 40 hours per week.
• Ability to work in person at the assigned location and reliably commute for scheduled shifts.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift, talk, hear, and use hands and arms throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Very heavy work: occasionally exerting more than 100 pounds of force, frequently more than 50 pounds of force, and constantly more than 20 pounds of force to move objects.

Pay & Benefits

• $35,000-$40,000/year equivalent; approximately $16-$18/hour DOE plus bonus potential.
