* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming techniques
* 16 years or older

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Experience teaching swim lessons
* Additional certifications in water safety or lifeguarding
* Background in education or child development
** Responsibilities:
*** Conduct swim lessons for individuals and groups of varying ages and skill levels.
* Implement lesson plans that align with YMCA standards and best practices.
* Monitor and assess the progress of students, providing feedback and encouragement.
* Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and maintaining a vigilant watch.
* Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and any concerns.
