The South Dakota Department of Corrections is hiring a teacher at Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield to educate adult male inmates. You will teach GED across four subject areas and facilitate cognitive behavioral programming, including test administration and material selection.
Hours typically run 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings/weekends for training. A teaching degree or SD-eligible status is required; a certificate is not mandatory.
