They are on Epic and Workday and implemented Snowflake about a year and half ago. Must have experience with Snowflake, data science, statistics, and modeling
Enterprise Intelligence Architect to design and optimize our enterprise data ecosystem. This role will lead the development of scalable data integration, transformation, and analytics solutions within our Snowflake environment, driving data-driven insights across clinical, operational, and strategic use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and enhancement of the enterprise data platform built on Snowflake, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Design and manage data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for ingestion, transformation, and loading of structured and semi-structured data from multiple systems (EHR, ERP, CRM, etc.).
- Oversee data modeling and metadata management to ensure consistent and governed enterprise data assets.
- Collaborate with clinical, financial, and operational stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and deliver advanced analytics solutions.
- Apply statistical modeling, data science, and predictive analytics to support decision-making, quality improvement, and population health initiatives.
- Implement best practices for data quality, security, and governance in compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Partner with IT and business teams to drive adoption of enterprise data assets and self-service analytics tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data engineering, or analytics leadership roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and Snowflake-specific tools (Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Snowpark, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Matillion, dbt, Talend, Azure Data Factory).
- Deep understanding of data integration and pipeline architecture, including near-real-time data processing.
- Experience with data science or statistical modeling (e.g., R, Python, SAS) to support analytical use cases.
- Familiarity with healthcare data (EHR, claims, financial, or operational data) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.
- Experience integrating data across clinical systems (Epic, Cerner, Workday, etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with governance and interoperability frameworks (FHIR, HL7, data catalogs).
